There was a 'Balsamic Moon' on Monday... I'd never heard the term before, but it is the quarter moon following a full moon. I looked out of the dormer window late last night, and there it was!
Yesterday saw us closing the second floor temporarily, while Widdy, our magic chippie (he also makes crystal wands) finished off the new area we have designated for homewares and kitchenwares.
The shelves are in, as is the beautiful marble sink we located at an antique fair on Sunday. All we need to do now is to paint everything, hang the chandeliers and Sandra can work her miracles of display and stock the area.
We have vintage tea sets, cake-stands, teapots, cups and saucers, coffee grinders and a whole range of yummy kitchenalia ready to go!
With the shop-front ready for a lick of paint in fresh Spring greens, we are looking forward to an exciting time.
